Top locations for air bnb in Korea

Image
Today might be one of the most productive air bnb work sessions I've had so far. I did a research on the Korean real estate market, and I had a vague idea on how to go about it. But when I put my keyboard on it and started researching away, the pieces really came together. Way better than I thought it would! Basically I got the data for the Air bnb grades from a website called air dna, where they put every information from air bnb market in the area. And then I researched which areas were most expensive. And then I wrote the price of the real estate per square meter, and then the money the properties generate in the area from air bnb. And finally I divided the income by the cost of the properties, to come up with a efficiency score. I also gave my own score, based on the efficiency score from A to C. However this score does not include things such as demand, seasonality, growth, and regulation. Just pure income efficiency. I kind of want to share my research on youtu...

Expansion of my air bnb empire

After blowing away a few paydays from my Air BnB, I became captivated with the idea of multiplying my money; 10x-ing my $730 to be exact. And then I was asking for advice from my wise and rich friends when Sean Lawrence sparked the idea of me expanding my Air BnB business. I mean he has been like a broken record with that pitch, however, it really did make sense to my bones when I thought about it. Rent in Korea is rather expensive, not only because of the high real estate price but also because of the ridiculous amount one has to pay in deposit. The standard I would say is about 10~20,000 dollars, and the minimum would be like $5000. And this is where the business opportunity comes in. Due to the high deposit fees which a lot of foreign exchange students don't have, they are willing to pay 2x or even 3x the amount of the marketplace rent price. So what do I do? Well, I rent the places in Hongdae and Sinchon and rent it out to students for 2x the price I pay. Rental arbitrage, BOOM...

Return of the itch

Today was just like any other day except I felt this itch... I used to feel this often but not in a while, and it has come back. It's an itch that literally makes me feel kind of itchy on my back... inside my head... in my chest. It makes me want to RUN until my heart explodes until I am covered in sweat. This itch makes me want to feel alive. I used to get this itch every now and then, and it seems that the itch has returned. It has been a while. Anyways I ran ran ran today until it felt like my chest was gonna blow up from breathing too hard. It was an amazing feeling towards the end. Just being one with my body, melting into my body. Ironically the itch made the run better. When you get to a positive state from a very low state, the rise feels even greater than what you would have experienced without the negative. It was a great day to run.
